Our Program
Gothenburg Fringe Festival (GOFF) proudly opens its doors this 1- 4 September to almost 200 artists from 25 countries.
This is the second year GOFF is organised,
and since last year the festival has had a real growth spurt.
The festival received 530 applications, and the program selection was done through a lottery draw process in the spirit of the open access idea. It resulted in nearly 60 productions which the GOFF team is very happy to present!
The program consists of performances from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd, Monday 4th we have programmed meetings, workshops and lectures that are free and open to all. The festival acts will be performed at 15 venues around the city, concentrated to the cultural and charismatic area of Majorna.
A lot will happen around Stigbergstorget, as a starter, the festival opening takes place at Gathenhielmska Huset, It is an artistic collaboration of local artists, produced with support from Higab. This artistic team will give us a live performance of light, music and poetry from inside the intriguing 18th century building (the royal privateer's house).

I år bjuder Gothenburg Fringe Festival på scenkonst av nästan 200 artister från totalt 25 olika länder. Det är andra året GOFF ordnas, och sedan förra året har festivalen
växt till sig ordentligt.
Av de 530 ansökande artisterna har det lottats fram vilka som får delta. Det har resulterat i nästan 60 produktioner, som vi bakom GOFF är stolta över att få presentera.
Festivalen visar föreställningar från fredag 1:a till söndag 3:e, måndagen den 4:e har vi programmerat möten, workshops och föreläsningar som är gratis och öppna för alla. Festivalen är uppdelad på 15 spelplatser runt om i staden framför allt runt det kulturrika och charmiga området Majorna.
Vid Stigbergstorget händer det en hel del. Invigningen, äger rum vid Gathenhielmska Huset, en föreställning sammansatt av poesi, ljud- och ljusinstallation kommer att kunna njutas av alla från torget, det är ett första steg i att levandegöra det fantastiska 1700-talshuset och genomförs med stöd av Higab.
