The 2018 Artist Call is over and an astounding 861 artists from 59 countries submitted proposals for this year's Nordic Fringe Network circuit, which kicks off with the 3rd edition of the Gothenburg Fringe on 23-27 August.
With so many artists around the world having done their bit to make this year’s Fringe such an exciting prospect, now the hard work begins behind the scenes.
“Wowzie!! Emotions galore as the artist call 2018 comes to a close. We are excited to see that so many artists from around the globe have submitted their work to participate in the 3rd edition of Gothenburg Fringe.
“Big thank you to all! And so, without further ado, let’s get ready to raise the sails! More anon,” said co-director Isabel Lagos.
The hunt for suitable venues in the Majorna area of Gothenburg is ongoing as we try to give the opportunity to as many acts as possible to take part.
As March progresses, we will be in touch with artists who have been accepted and we’ll be stepping up our efforts to promote the Fringe with a brand new look.
