Open Call for artists and creators
Gothenburg Fringe is looking for local creators or a creative team to build a site-specific performance for the opening evening of our 2025 festival on Friday 29 August. The selected artists will have their contribution commissioned.
We celebrate the 10th anniversary of Gothenburg Fringe with our opening evening at Börsen, a historic building at Gustaf Adolfs torg. The creators we're looking for will have the opportunity be a part of:
Creating a site-specific work to be performed as part of a guided tour of Börsen, a historic building that is usually restricted to the public.
Engaging with the history and architecture of Börsen
Highlighting the unique character of the space
Celebrating the kick-off of 10 years of Fringe in Gothenburg
Performers and creators wishing to participate should write to elin@gbgfringe.com by Friday 13 June at 12:00 hrs to register interest and receive more information.
All those registered will be invited to a digital meeting with the organising team on Sunday 15 June at 19:00-20:00 hrs.
Following that, you'll be invited to present your proposal in a digital meeting on Sunday 22 June at 18:00-20:00 hrs.
