Elin Hansson
Gothenburg Fringe President
No Gothenburg Fringe event would be the same without Elin, the longest-serving member of the team and elected President of the board for 2021.
Little did she know when she joined the team in 2017, that she would be dragged kicking and screaming into a key role within the team, a role which she took on at full speed and never looked back.
Among Elin’s many special abilities is her talent for making even the simplest technological item or concept go haywire in her presence.
Besides that, you can trust her with anything. Our Skåne native has been a producer for the festival, working on practically every aspect as well as running the volunteer programme and breathing her unique spirit into everything she does.
Chris O'Reilly
Fringe Director
Chris studied archaeology at the University College Dublin. Where upon reading about the discovery of an ancient handball court in Peru, decided to make a change and begin a successful career in sports journalism.
This led him to Gothenburg where he joined the Fringe team in 2018, having been a fan of the festivals held in Edinburgh and Dublin for several years. Initially starting out as a regular volunteer, Chris is now director of media and communications for GBG Fringe and has been instrumental in creating one of Gothenburg’s most varied and exciting cultural events. Chris loves artistic gymnastics, all kinds of comedy shows and dog training.
