The countdown to 7 September and the beginning of Gothenburg Fringe Festival 2022 is on!
We may be a whole 135 days away from the start of our 7th edition but we can hardly contain our excitement as work continues towards our most ambitious festival to date - taking place on 7-11 September 2022.
Following the successful debut of the Spring Showcase last month, featuring three standout events on three days at three venues around Gothenburg, full focus is now on preparing for the year's main event.
Following two years of pivoting and problem-solving to deliver safe and welcoming Fringe festivals during the Covid pandemic, we can now build on the continued support and passion from the local community and international Fringe scene to put on a real party this year.
As things currently stand, we're set to host around 150 events at 15 locations around the city over 5 days of fantastic performance art with something for everyone to enjoy.
Among the 60 productions registered to take part, we have a fine blend of exciting local performers and award-winning talent from around the world, offering their passion projects in a variety of art forms.
