Seasonal Showcase set for 16-18 November at Gathenhielmska Huset
Updated: Oct 29
Ready for some more Fringe?
Gathenhielmska Huset is the place to be on 16-18 November as we bring you our next seasonal showcase with eight events taking place over three days at the fascinating Gathenhielmska Huset on Stigbergstorget. Tickets have just been released on gbgfringe.com.
As we always do with Gothenburg Fringe, the three days will be packed with an array of shows, featuring performance artwork, music, improv, discussion and contemporary dance. We will even host an open stage in the intimate setting of Gathenhielmska's Greenhouse, which is open for artists to register for here.
Headlining the showcase with performances on Friday and Saturday is B O K E H the artistic alias of Chloë Lewer, who is an audiovisual artist, singer, music producer, actress and film producer based in Berlin, creating electronic indie pop songs that are gentle and dreamy, yet also bold and powerful, with a touch of melancholy.
Local artists will command the house for the rest of the showcase, with gött FEMME opening the event on Thursday, a crazed and loving group of improvisers who are ready to blow your mind.
A part of Gathenhielmska Huset's history will be deconstructed through light, optics, music and surreal rituals by SPEAKERBREATHER on Friday.
Dancer Hannah Karlsson's cunning and comical tones move between profound seriousness and lighthearted wittiness will be on display in No News on Saturday, where an emotional state of wanting to move forward is explored, parallel with the inability to do anything else but to hold on to what is safe and familiar, which is rooted in fear and suffering.
Individual tickets are available for all performances now with combo tickets available if you'd like to catch two performances for a discounted price. The setting at Gathenhielmska Huset is intimate, so places are very limited - get your tickets now.
